I have done a lot of readings on this trying to look for a solution but nothing out there will get rid of the dark circles... Its hereditary and all you can do is get plenty of rest, have a good diet and wear makeup!
Get plenty of sleep nightly. It’s not entirely clear why inadequate sleep results in dark circles under the eyes, but we’ve all seen it happen either to ourselves or someone we know. For one thing, lack of sleep tends to cause the skin to become paler (thus increasing the appearance of darkness under the eyes), and it reduces circulation. It’s also believed that too little time lying down is a cause in itself. Determine how much sleep you need (it’s usually 7-9 hours per night) and try to get that amount regularly for a couple of weeks to see if that helps. Remember that alcohol and drugs can adversely affect the quality of your sleep; abstain from these products or use only in moderation for best results.

There are many causes of dark circles, from age, heredity, allergies, cold or sinus infection, bone structure and glasses which are not so commonly known.

If you would like to apply home remedies to reduce dark circles, here are some of my suggestions:
Buy a box of regular, old fashioned unflavored gelatin (e.g. Knox) from grocery store. Take a small cup or bowl and put in 1 teaspoon of the gelatin mix. Add one tablespoon of boiling water & stir for a minute. Test it on your wrist to make sure it is not too hot. Then, using a cotton ball, pat it under your eyes as you would an eye cream or gel. Go lie down and listen to some music, or take a bath & let it stay on for at least 30 minutes. Then just rinse it off.Gelatin is very high in Vitamin K & Biotin. It will not remove your dark circles on the first application (but you will notice a difference), but if you do it daily for a week, and then 2-3 times a week for maintenance, you should notice a drastic reduction in dark circles.

Ditch the Dark Circles
Before you go to bed, peel and slice a potato. Close your eyes and cover your eyelids with slices of raw potato, using a bandanna to secure the potatoes while you sleep. Do this three times a week. You should start to see gradual improvement.
How it works: The potatoes have the same enzyme used in expensive cosmetic creams to lighten the skin.
You can also mix equal portions of almond oil and honey and massage the mixture into the dark circles around your eyes before going to bed. Wash it off in the morning.
How it works: The honey acts as a moisturizer. The oil gently exfoliates, stimulating the skin cells around the eyes. This tightens and eventually lightens loose skin around the eyes. It has the dual effect of getting rid of wrinkles around the eyes, too.

Try Hylexin. Its made especially for and only for serious dark under eye circles. It really works. Also you could try a makeup...
If you look at my picture can you tell i have any flaws? Underneath that makeup I have the most hideous DEEP scars from acne. . I use a makeup called DERMABLEND. You buy the makeup (variety of shades) you can buy a dark and one light to mix together to find your shade, that's what I do.. then you buy the setting powder which is necessary to use after the makeup. Its very easy to apply, just apply on your face, use the setting powder and brush off. Its simply just wonderful. Just try it, i know you will love it. It covers anything from acne, scars, blemishes, stretchmarks, discoloration, pigmentation, birthmarks, even tattoos, and more. Stays on up to 16 hours. Give it try. Its not just makeup, its leg and body cover as well. :-)Good Luck!

Yes, Lancome makes a great serium for under eye circles. However, it is a bit expensive. My mother uses it, and if I'm not mistaken you apply it a few times a week. You can get it at any department store like Macy's or Dillards. She loves it so much she bought my father some.

You should try Mary Kay's Firming Eye Cream to help get rid of the dark circles and use a yellow concealer to make them less visible...

On What not to Wear on TLC, they make you up also. The woman that does the peoples make up, Carmandy, uses some kind of a stick under their eyes and rubs it in. No more dark circles.

try oil of olay regenerist. i am 27 and need to use oil of olay on my face and hands just living in las vegas! otherwise try using a dab concealer under your cover up if you use it. stay away from using eye liner or mascara on your bottom eye lids. on top of all that make sure you sleep and get your beauty naps! you are probally doing to much in a day. best of luck!

Obtain smaller plates. Little crockery means portion control is much easier – those diminutive servings suddenly look huge and you’ll be happier to consume less.
