How good I find the typical benchmarks pro teams and college teams use to measure the players potential. 40 times seem to be an important item where could I find stats on this. Bench, Squats and cleans also is there any sources for the stats football teams look at? I know pro teams have endless records like this but I doubt they ever release them to the public.

I don't think they have public information on this stuff. But I do know that NFL.com has record of at least this years scouting combine. Which has records for the 40, bench, vertical, broad, and other position specific drills that they did during that time. They also have the whole thing online so that you can watch it too. They're not pro athletes yet but it'll give you an idea of what the top college prospects can do.
