this seems wrong as i would think it would weight mush more. is she wrong and if so what is she thinking of because the number 22.4 does sound farmiliar.

i need the source otherwise she will not believe me

22.4 grams will have a different volume depending on what the substance is. I think that you may be confusing this with the ideal gas law, which, among other things, says that a mole of a gas at standard temperature and pressure has a volume of 22.4 liters.

There are a couple ways to look at this.
You may have misunderstood your teacher.
Ask her to explain what she meant.
Maybe she was giving you an assignment to find what kind of things would have a low density. There can be some things where a liter- full wound weigh only 22.4 gms. For example popcorn and dandelion blooms are lightweight, so are some insulating plastic foams.
