because all those fake titties jiggling is what sells the records. the music is secondary and barely a factor. when a 10 year old girl goes and buys a backstreet fags cd, it's because "they're hotties, hee hee!", not because of anything to do with the music. same concept applies here. like you, i wish that the people who actually put the time and effort into writing that crap got some recognition. but they get paid pretty well, and besides, would you honestly want your name plastered across the front cover right underneath a picture of some fake slut?

You're extra details statment is almost correct. What you meant to say was "Even with the uncredited song writers, they ARE just eye candy."
First off, Jewel is the only one who doesn't belong on your list. Jewel is a musician, she actually plays guitar on her songs, and she wrote/co-wrote most of her songs. Unlike Brittney, Christina, and Jessica.
The reason the real musicians don't get credit is because the big record companies don't want 14 year old girls to know that Brittney is "just eye candy".

If I were them, I'd be embarrassed as a hooker being found out by the family if I admitted to writing that cookie-cutter drivel.

They do get credit the writers are listed on CD's, etc. and they are paid royalties too.
