It's been the hardest part of my life. We have a daughter thats not even two. Things seemed fine and all of a sudden she just wanted out. Just curious to hear similar stories.

People change so much when they are in relationships. Especially if your relationship started when you guys were young. The person she was growing up to be wasn't the person who was still wanting to be your wife or your childs mother. Maybe she just felt like everything that was going on was too hard so she felt like she had to run away..
My best advice to you is to don't sit around and feel bad for yourself. Bounce back.
Ladies love good single fathers..

Wow this is too bad... Have you asked her why she felt this way and wanted out and left so quickly? She may be able to answer this question better then what we can. I had a husband up and abandoned me and i did not expect it at all... I can feel your pain and i know what you are going through as i have been there. I also had another man leave me when he found out i was pregnant and this was totally a shock and unexpected.

I know a guy who had that happen. She left him with 2 beautiful daughters. He was booked to appear on Oprah to tell his story, but they only wanted him if he'd bring the kids. When he told them he didn't want them exploited, they dropped the story.

She turned up a few years later, but she was remarried. Fortunately, he was able to maintain sole custody.

not necessarily did she want out...sometimes women leave and regret it later..i did this last time...she might just be calling soon ...keep the faith!! i left but gave an hour warning...now i can't go back//he doesn't know how to forgive..just a bad day for both of us,,, words were said that shouldn't have been said and i basically can't stand that in marriage but i forgot i had to go 2000 miles to leave.

Your situation is not unusual. But, that does not take away the heartache. Keep the lines of communication open with her. See your child when you can. Pray. Miracles do happen. Good luck.

Sounds like she found someone else that gave her alot of attention. Women like attention and affection. Did you provide her love and affection or did you criticize her? There could be other problems with her. Who knows.
