Doesn't it suck...I was the same way...what you want to do is make sure your hands and the lens is clean and has no rips. Take the contact on your right index finger. With your left hand hold your top lid up (whatever finger you choose doesn't matter). Now with your right hand (the one holding your lens), I use my middle finger to hold down my lower lid. This leaves my index finger holding the lens more or less right in front of my eye. Position the lens in front of your eye and start to put it in while you're LOOKING UP (its a natural reflex to blink if you see something coming at your eye which is why you're looking up...and just look up with your eyes, not your face..like if you're rolling your eyes). Remove your finger and blink it into place. Once you blink it should take place, if not look in the mirror and either position it with your fingers or by looking (rolling) your eyes around.

Lol don't worry...you'll get the hang of it. I was the same way, I got it in at the eye doctors but couldn't on my own for like, 4 days. What you might have to end up doing is going back to the eye doctors for another practice. But anyways, what you do is put the contact on the tip of your index finger, and use the index finger from your OTHER hand to pull the bottom eyelid down, and your middle finger to keep the top eyelid up, then you just poke it your eye and blink. It's hard to explain, so that's why if you can't get it on your own you should go back one more time.

Ya it does take a while to get used to! So you need to hold your eye open with the hand you aren't using to put the contact in. Lets say you are using your right hand to put in the contact. You would use your first finger.. so with your middle finger, pull down on your bottom lid. Then with your other hand, hold your top lid open. Then JUST GO FOR IT! I know it is SUPER scary at first... it took me hours to get them in even at the doctors. Make sure you are using a mirror, it will make it much easier. And if you just take a deep breath and put it in... then hold your eye open for a little while longer... don't just let go of your eyelids right away. Good luck! =)

I make sure theres not too much liquid on them and then hold my eyelid up and put them in. I move my eye around in circle motions a few times then slowly close my eye for 10 seconds and then blink a few times. If it hurts to blink or hold your eye closed they are in unside down. Then i start on the next one. You will get used to them. Also another tip, if your contact starts to hurt during the day, look for mascara or liner on them as sometimes it falls onto them. To get it off just dab your finger on it and it should come off. Good luck!

this is what i do. i am right handed, and wear soft contacts:
wash my hands, dry
take Right contact out of the case
rinse it w/ fresh solution
put it at the TIP of my index finger on right hand
(make sure your left hand is dry)
use middle finger on left hand to pull the lower eyelid downwards, index finger to lift your upper eyelid so that u won't blink onto the contact
place contact gently onto center of the eye, stare straight into the mirror
blink into place.
good luck!
