No the best product for acne is formulated for acne, I can recommend a great product its Medicated Acne Formula and its out out by a reputable company beeroyalproducts.com I got it for my two teen daughters and have had huge success even their scars are gone now. Sometimes on products you need to buy a higher quality for optimum results. Look into them you might even be able to write for a free sample to try and see how it works for ya .... Good Luck

You should never use a scrub when you have acne - listen to your dermatologist!

If you feel you need a scrub - ask your doctor. He may have prescribed medication that should not be used along with an abrasive exfoliant. You might end up with a lot of scarring if you are not careful.

If all your acne has cleared up, stick to well known products like Origins Never a Dull Moment or St Ives Medicated Apricot Scrub. Don't use it more than twice a week initially.

My guess is that they aren't good for your face because of the abrasives in it. You would actually be like scratching your skin with those apricot scrubs. Although I don't know what salicide is either.

the doctor may have told you that because the scrub tends to be a harsh exfolient, and can make acne worse. you may want to ask your doctor if there's a more gentle exfoliater you can use, or try getting monthly or weekly facials
