My b/f and I have been together almost 18 months and friends for 3 years. We started to think I was pregnant. We talked about it alot and agreed that we would get married. Turns out I just had a stomach bug and my period actually came early. There have been so many changes lately. He got a job an hour away and is moving up there with a friend, his mom is recently divorced so my son and I are moving into her house, keep her company and so I can finish my RN full time. We gave up a 3 bedroom house that we were renting, and it seems so stupid to be thinking about having a child now. But I was slightly disappointed when I found out I wasn't and I walking in the house and gave him a smile cause I thought he would be happy, and he frowned when I told him. His mom was talking about what she wanted grandkids to call her at dinner last night, and he and I just look at eachother. It was strange. We are in our early 20's, I have a 3yr for previous relationship, we make over 60k yr

I wasn't exactly asking what we should or shouldn't do, that is between us. It was more wondering if these thoughts/feelings were because we thought I might have been. We never really thought about it. I was looking for the others experiences - like the one where she had the same thing happen and realized at that point that they were ready. We can afford our own house, we choose to give up our house because he didn't want to commute and we didn't want his Mom to be alone all the time. I pay $400 a month for my sons daycare, and combined we have 30k+ in savings. We live in a small town with a very low cost of living.
This wouldn't be some over night decision/change. We would need to get a place near his job, and I would have to transfer my job. I was just interested if others had a similiar experience and what they felt or did.
