I'm so sick of hearing about how selfish Kobe is. Maybe you people stopped watching the Lakers 2 years ago, but Kobe averages 6 assists per game! That's tops on his team!! Please put these outdated "ballhog" arguments to bed already. Kobe has matured over the years and a lot of people seem to have missed that. Not only is he now a better distributor, he is still a strong defender, and the best scorer in the league. He may be averaging "only" 30 ppg this year (because he's distributing more), but who else can put up 117 points in two games like Kobe just did. Lebron will probably surpass him, but, for now, Kobe is the real king.

No! He Definitely isn't. Kobe is selfish with the ball. He needs to learn that Basketball is a team sport and one person can't beat a team. It took Michael Jordan six years to learn that. Kobe will never win another Championship because he's a selfish player.

Lebron James is probably the best all around player in the NBA. He can score, distribute the ball, handle the ball, hit the game winner and also hit a three every now and then. This is the kind of player you want on your team.

Magic Johnson is another good example of a great all around player.

I'll agree with barkley, Lebron, Carmelo, Vince Carter, Tracy McGrady, and many other coaches and players in the NBA when I say Kobe is the best player in the game right now. I know most fans dont want to hear that but I think the people that i listed earlier would know a litle more than any of us would sitting at home, eating cheetos, and critiquing.

I hate Kobe more than any player in the NBA. But even saying that, I have to say that he is the best player in the NBA (today). His stats are amazing, and without him, the Lakers would be nothing. Plus, he's done something that I've never seen anyone do before (make a fadeaway 3 on two guys in the corner). He truly is amazing.

He is easily the best all around player in the nba and is the best player in the nba, because he is the best perimeter player in the game and he plays defense against star players on any opponent he faces. You will always see him guarding Lebron, Wade, Arenas, and even Dirk. But you will never see those guys try to step up and guard him. Just shows you his work ethic is so superior.

He is a legend amongst mortals in the NBA today.

Even as much as I hate him, I would have to say he is the best all around player int he nba right now. 2 years ago it was Kidd but he has lost a step.

Of course he is...easy question. He can score at will and he has a shooting touch that Lebron doesnt have (yet) and has the size and post play that Wade doesnt have (or will ever have). he literally has jack **** around him and still wins game...well more than he loses them. People seem to hate him, but as much as you want to argue against it, nobody has more talent than Kobe. Lebron will most likely be better than him eventually, but right now, it's Kobe...easy.

if the best all around player is the one who takes cheap shots on someone then he is and if being a ball hog counts then he wins the award hands down!
