The best way is to make a joke about it, and then say a funny thing about them to return the favor.
People that do that have a lot of hang-ups, and do it to make themselves feel good. Give as good as you get and dont let them think they have upset you.

It really depends on what is being made fun of ? If its something very small .....it's stupid and petty.. why be so sensitive about it ??
If its something meant to be mean.... well why even bother to continue on with that person who wants to hurt you ? Just ignore it ....... Some people are just meant to be A@@hole@ in their life.

I haven't been made fun of (to my face) in many years. I used to just ignore the person. NEVER let them know they've upset you or it will only get worse.

Avoid them like the plauge. If I can't avoid them (if they are a co worker or someone I have to see) I ignore them. Luckily, that hasn't happened in a long time.

i would not fight back, what i would do is walk away, or ignore that fellow, i had people made fun of me in the past. and i would just ignore and walk, or not do anything, let them take the action, **** i dont care. and if they take an action, like pushing and shoving, i would not do it back, let them get in trouble. not me. because i didnt do anything. whose to blame? good point

I get upset sometimes... I was teased REALLY bad as a kid (only blk girl in a predominantly white neighborhood)... maybe I need to be on someones couch..lol
