We were so upset when Sundance was voted off instead of sanjayaa. Now other great singers are gone instead of him. Someone said it was because of the website I mentioned. Do you know?

No, he is the kind of singer that girls fall in love with when they are going through puberty. They vote for him to express their love. If he was ugly he would be gone by now.

That's the rumor and I have to believe that it is true. I have been hearing about them for several years now. I think it's a shame when they ruin the chances of better performers. I also feel sorry for Sanjaya because he KNOWS he is their choice. He admited he is not the best singer on the show. I thought he did WAY better this week, though, and that Stephanie did not do well enough to stay. Unfortunately, there is nothing that can be done about it. Kind of explains Taylor Hicks. I mean if he was THAT popular to win why is his album selling like crap? Kellie Pickler's has way outsold his as well as Katharine's and Chris Daughtry is a no brainer. I guess we just have to make sure to vote hard for our favorites to counter act them!

I think the masses of people get together on Sunday nights in a dark alley and plan to vote for the worst person just to screw with mainstream America.
It HAS to be something like that. Sanjayaa drives me absolutely bonkers. I am repulsed, yet I can't look away.
And his performances have been horrifying!

I agree. Sanjayaa should've been kicked out a long time ago BEFORE Sundance. Honestly, Sanjayaa has a pure and sweet voice. But he doesn't know how to utilize it. Seriously. He plays it safe. He has to grow balls and sing a challenging tune. Peace!

It maybe influencing the vote but that is part of the show. The public gets to vote anyway they want.

Its partly because of that website, and partly because of Howard Stern. He is telling all of his listeners to vote for that kid. And I hope he wins American Idol so that show can be shown for the joke that it really is.

I don't think the votes matter at all. I think they are taken into consideration, but I think the show is a work from start to finish.

i definately think its partially because of that stupid web site. It sucks, because good singers are going home and not getting a chance to become their dream. It sucks...and so does sanjayaa!!!

i hat that sanjaya guy, i don't know there is something about him that i dpon't like . i won't be surprise if he makes it to the top 5 or 6
