"Their"
Oden stays in college because he explicitely said so ( although that doesn't mean a lot for some people ) but Durant has not said anything and I see him less mature than Oden and might be lured more easily by the promises and riches.

Durant will go to the NBA after this year. He's an amazing talent and knows he will be a top 3 pick. If Oden wins a championship, I think he might consider leaving; however, it is very possible he will come back even if he wins because he says he doesn't want to go pro until he will be a dominant force. He is a dominant defensive player, but he still needs to polish his offensive game. Another year in college will do wonders for his offense and will make him a better all-around player. He also has said he is enjoying college life. I'll say Durant goes to the NBA and Oden stays.

I would really like to see both of the players continue to play in the NCAA next season. I an a true believer that it is very rare that a palyer comes straight out of highschool or early college to dominate the NBA( of course Kobe and Lebron are exceptions). Even KJ had to play in the NBA for a few year before he became as dominate as they are. For Durant and Oden's sake, they should stay in school and have something to fakk back on just incase they wind up with an injury in the NBA that prohibits them to play anymore. Also both players are great but I do believe a few more years developing their complete games would well serve them upon their arrival in the NBA. Right now they are both great college players but I think they still have a little more to learn about basketball fundamentals before they step up to the big game.

I think Durant will go pro, no question. He's more ready to go in my opinion. Oden could go, and probabaly will, but he needs to work on his footwork on both the offensive and defensive end. He also seems to not hustle that much too me. If he had Tyler Hansbrough's heart, he go down as one of the top 5 centers in NBA history.

wrong use of the word "their" and spelled sophomore wrong.
anyhow, durant says he is staying but his parents are making the call. he is rumored to have a huge nike deal set and it will be hard to turn down all that money. oden says he is enjoying college and i think he will stay because he can easily put up better numbers than he did this year.

I'm sure both of them will jump around the issue until the last minute, but end up entering the draft. With the talent those 2 have, and the hype that follows, I don't see them turning down the NBA. They are both looking at Lebron-like shoe contracts next season.

I tend to buy it when Oden says he's not ready and will come back. Not a lot, but I buy a little of it. I kind of hope he does. Good grief, Ohio State returning those freshman would be insane.

I hope they do. Both have exceptional talent, but it takes more than a year to develop in college as a basketball player and a person. It's important not to let the fame and the riches go to your head. My prediction is that they will. They still haven't played the game of their lives yet.

doubt it, people are so caught up with themselves now days that they dont care for education and all they care about is the big houses, nice cars, the ladies, and all that money that they get paid for to put a basketball thorugh a hoop, i doubt either one of them will come back, it all comes down to the fame and fortune, when people are good and they know that they are good, they use that knowledge to best of their ability and take of advantage of it, because all in all its a downright gift to be talented in a sport and become a professional in that field
