I need some suggestions of fun things to do for my divorce party. Has anyone ever been to one? Mine is going to be mixed (men and women) and guests will be mainly 25-35 years old.

Have an orgy. j/k. Play some games like dirty minds and dirty minds 2. You can get them both at Spencers. Make daquiris and have lots of alcohol. Do a gift giving exchange of 10 dollars or less gifts. Play spin the bottle. I know that sounds high school, but a divorce party isn't very conventional so you should get crazy. Make it a pot luck too. Everybody should bring something they made at home like dips, desserts etc. Tell everyone to find a dirty joke and bring it to tell at the party.

I have no ideas whatsoever. I've never been to one and I've never heard of one before just this minute.
I can't imagine what one would do at a divorce party. Drink a lot and bash your ex? Celebrate the fact that your marriage failed like 50% of the rest of married population?
Seems like a pretty lame excuse to have a party - no matter how messy the marriage/divorce process is.
But that's just me.

I saw in US Weekly that Shana Barker did one - she had a cake that looked really cool. Unfortunately, I cant find any pics of it but if you search for Shana Barker you might be find it. I would suggest doing anything you want for your divorce party, it's your time to celebrate!
