No idea, but I think he's probably been there awhile. He's probably why Ben knew about Locke. I don't think that he just randomly showed up in the box. Could he have been on the plane in another area and John never saw him?? Maybe part of Dharma, a boat wreck..... Any number of ways he could've landed there.

I was kind of wondering that (of course)...I'm thinking it isn't really Lockes father at all... you know, how sometimes they (they being the survivors of the plane crash) have some bizarre hallucinations...maybe. I dunno...that is ONE WEIRD SHOW. :) and I love it!

idk but it seems the LOST characters all have connections. what ever happened to jacks dad not being in the coffin? eko's brother how did he get there? it's so cofusing and i am so hoping they will eventually be able to explain it all.
