Because she didn't know any better... Apparently she seems to think that the contestants on this year's show are actually good.... Poor girl.

If you are talking about the little girl from the audience... She was just excited and emotional I believe, at the thought of being there and seeing her favorites perform. She was shown crying a couple of times. I thought it was pretty neat that they let her come up on stage and hug everyone. That was a big deal to her, something she will never forget.

yeah that i didn't get either, they showed that on the News last night, me and my mom were both wondering about it. he came and sang over by that girl while she was crying at some certain point and she was still crying...idk why, but thats what i was wondering.
