Smashbox cosmetics do a great product for the eyebrows, it comes with the applicator brush included. Its called brow Tech it comes in Auburn, Blonde, Brown, Grey & Taupe. I have dark eyebrows and I use the Taupe because it is their universal shade it will adapt to suit your shade. If you go to the site below then click on beauty scroll down to Smashbox and then click on the word eyes it will bring up all their eye products including the Brow Tech, if you click on the Brow Tech you can then watch a demonstration online. It lasts for ages.
Good Luck

here's my best suggestion, if you don't want them to get tinted, then never ever use a pencil eyebrow.
I've tried using black, dark brown, brown and all of them do not look good, whenever i also use brown shades, they appear reddish against my skin.
Until i finally discovered a good and less expensive product? are you asian? use asian based makeups like shesiedo and david salon's in-2 it.
My eyebrow's shade are a combination gray and kaki, if you don't want a dark one, use only kaki shade (it's in one container P245), in cake/powder form. if you want it to stay longer, gent wet with water the applicator and use quick, light, gentle strokes.
it matches well with in-2-it eyeshadow P319 light pink shades and light to medium brown/bronze shades which make you look younger.
I felt and look more confident after using a cake/ powder eyebrow than a pencil. it looks more natural too.
Hope i was able to help you with my personal advice. Godbless!

. naturally eyebrows should be a little darker than your hair as they accentuate the eyes try Millie and ruby eyeshadow I use it for brows with a thin applicator looks great and doesn't smudge

Get yourself an eyebrow pencil. I find these work really well. And not everybodys eyebrows match, look at people with blond hair etc.

you can use a small amount of mortician wax then put your nomal makeup over that, its abit fidally but you get the hang of it then remove it with baby oil...morticians wax can be purchased at fancy dress stores drag queens use it as an aid for shaping and to add definition

ummmmmmmm......... yeah you should make them match your new hair color, but if you are just going a little lighter, there is nothing to worry about, along as they are close to the hair color....................
