Look... there's two components to having a good-looking stomach. And you'll need both.

The first is fat. Obviously if you have a bunch of fat on your stomach, it's not going to look flat. There is NO WAY to lose fat JUST from one body part. It's a metabolism thing - you either lose it from all over your body or not at all.

But losing fat from elsewhere is not usually horrible either! The best way to lose fat is to cut back a bit on what you eat. You basic metabolism uses more energy than anything you do, unless you're an olympic-class athlete who does strenuous exercise for more than eight hours a day. Eat a good breakfast, have at least a bite of something every four hours so your blood sugar doesn't get too low, and eat a modest lunch and a sparing dinner. Remember - hunger is caused by your liver because of low blood sugar... it has nothing to do with the volume of food that is in your stomach!

The second factor in having a tight stomach is the muscles you have there. Even with no fat, if you have flabby muscles then your stomach is going to look flabby. Unlike fat, you CAN tone muscles in just one area. And it's usually not too hard to tell if you're affecting the correct spot - after a rough exercise you'll 'feel the burn'.

What's usually recommended for toning the stomach is crunches. Sort of like sit-ups, but only go up part way and hold there briefly. Do it slowly and controlled instead of going for a huge number of lousy repetitions. And make sure your feet are well supported, or you'll be working the wrong muscles and could even hurt yourself!

Once your stomach fat is gone and your muscles are toned there, you'll be able to bounce quarters off your tummy and everyone will drool! Good luck!

Spot-reduction weight loss isn't possible. You have to eat healthily, exercise, and you'll lose weight from your entire body, not just your midsection. Even exercises that are for a specific area only tone the muscle underneath, not get rid of the fat covering the muscles. That requires cardiovascular exercise as well as healthy eating.

Don't quit eating, but eat sensably. Just fruits, vegetables, and whole grain breads.

1. 8 oz. of Skim Milk a day helps you lose weight, and thin out
2. Ginseng and Green Tea (try green tea it has EGCG) raise your metabolism
3. Drink 8 glasses of water a day- It helps stabilize your ph, and is a miracle worker
4. Excersize moderately every day- don't ever-exert yourself
5. work on your abs- do crunches, etc.

If you change your life to resemble most of these, then you will lose wait and keep it off, not to mention be healthier.
