Addiction is a source of evil. If you look up "fiend" in the dictionary, it could mean a demon, a person of great wickedness, fanatic, addict. Can anybody tell me how can we as a people stop the drugs, money, sex, and fame addictions of the world?

You can only fight your own addictions. People can't change people - only GOD can change people.
The way to fight them is to cut off the source. This is what Jesus meant when He said to gouge out your eye if it offends you. If you are an alcoholic, don't go to bars. If you have a food addiction, stay away from buffets. If you have a porn addiction, get a filter on the computer and block that sort of thing from your tv. If you are a shop-a-holic, stay away from the mall, etc. etc.
As a people, we can send a message by choosing NOT to watch tv shows that cater to these addictions or that have sponsors that cater to these addictions. We can choose NOT to buy the National Enquirer & the other tabloid crap. We can choose NOT to feed into the insanity of it all...

We can only break the cycle of addiction in our own lives with Gods help. We can pray for those who refuse to admit to addiction that they may see the light. It comes down to choice-each person must make their own choices and many addicts won't see their problem til they reach absolute rock botton. Many have to be as far down as they can go, before they look up.

*preaching the bible
*making foundations for the people who seek help
*try to help other foundations
*hel the kids in africa
*praying can make the biggest difference as long as it comes from the heart
*PREACH THE GOSPEL FOR THE ONES WHO WANT TO LISTEN AND BE SAVED BY JESUS... in the bible say's DONT THROW YOUR PEARLS (meaning; dont talk) TO THE PIGS (to people who dont listen)
