I love designer clothes but hate to pay the price. I found the best designer clothes at Thriftstores. I even buy them if they are awesome and not my size and resell them on Ebay for profit:)
Look under Thriftstores in your yellow pages. Not consignment or second hand - they are almost as expensive as a mall. Good idea is to drive to a nicer area of town to find designer clothes or plan a trip to the next big town and go thriftshop shopping. I am a real thrift shop addict:) All people comment me about my good taste and think I always wear ridiculous expensive clothes - even while doing yardwork.
Size 12 is so common and you will find more than you could ever wear.

i am 31 and wear same size and buy most of my jeans at ann taylor loft, j crew, chico's. Chico's to most of the rest of the people here is probably considered "old" but they have great funky jeans with cool beading details and interesting pocket details.
Ann Taylor Loft usually has great curvy fit jeans if you have a big booty like myself.
J Crew is hit or miss. I find some cute simple jeans at their outlets on occasion.
You might also try nordstroms. I can't usually afford some of their jeans, but they have a lot of denim in the point of view section, designer I guess.

My moms 37 and still in a size 5 she finds cute jeans everywhere, they dont have to be like gucci or aeropostal either, they can just be regular cute jeans for about 15 dollars, why waste money on anexpensive pair of pants when you can buy 5 for that price? anyways lol im rambling, so wal mart always has cute clothes in your size, so does target, and fred meyers, and ross dress for less i love that store lol, or if you dont have any of those stores where you live just look online lol......Good luck

I am a size 12 & I love guess jeans from the outlet store!! they are good in fit and good in price!!!

Fashion Bug has great fashion and low prices
Also LEVI have alot of second hand stores around the country. You can also resale back to them LEVI's that don't fit you any more and/or trade them in for different pairs.

Have you tried Marshalls? It is time consuming because they have a little of everything, nice & not so nice jeans, but it can be worth it .
