Because their cars dont' run on middle easterners-- But they do run on the petroleum byproducts of their oil. Just like your car does.
They would love liberals more if they could get their cars to run on the hot air liberals generate. OBTW THAT is the major source of global warming. *LOL*

Both cons and libs rely on their oil. Libs just pretend like they don't. Of course cons would love our own oil but the left won't let us drill for it. As for middle easterners, cons don't necessarily hate them all. We just don't like the ones that blow up and take women and children with them.

I don't know, not a neo-con ;o)
BUT - why don't we open ANWR, like the *vast* majority of Alaskans want? More than 99% of our land is locked up against development. It's BS. Those of you who are against it, would *you* be willing to give up 99% of *your* state? Didn't think so.
I realize that ANWR won't solve our problems, but it *would* ease our dependence on foreign oil *and* buy us some time to develop alternatives.

I think you'll find that most of the population feels the same way.
What kind of car do you drive?
Where do you buy your food & clothing & how do they get those goods shipped to their stores?
How do you feel about someone who debases & abuses women, kills/beheads/blows up innocent civillians intentionally, chants "Death to America" etc, etc....
