Maybe do something simple and cheap. Rather than go to some fancy restaurant (and make him dress up), order pizza/chineese food and go on a picnic or something (since its getting warmer, at lease here it is). And then you could play frizbee/go on a walk/those kinds of things. THen he will feel like you dont need to impress eachother ALL THE TIME to have fun.

Take him to the Zoo, The Museum, The Planetarium, the Movie Theater, The Beach, The Amusement Park, Go on a picnic.Go on a hay ride. Take a walk. Go for ice cream. Go to a nice restaurant like Denny"s. Take a ride in the car. Go for a boat ride.

Guys would think it was great if you did something that appealed on their level. So..not going shopping for shoes or going to a fancy resteraunt where he has to dress up. Depending on his age, he could like anything from amusement parks (under 20) to a cool concert (under 30) to a neat class (like water rafting or hiking). Just do something really unique and out of the norm, that you know he would be willing to try.

~ A boat ride on a saturday afternoon when the sun is setting
~ go to different resturants and get a little bit to eat that way you can sample different resturants

I think that maybe you guys should go to a movie. What i dois take my boyfriend on the first date and then we go to a fast food resturant and then we go to a movie.
