smoking is bad for you & it gets on everything. I,ve lived in my apartment going on 4 years August, does anyone have a solution to get the smoke & dust off all my stuffed teddy bears, that are on a shelf in my bathroom, I know you can,t wash them, I do throw them in the dryer on fluff, but that just gets the dust bunnies off them & not the stains, anything would be appreciated. Thanks.

Put them in a pillow case, tie it closed and wash. Dry the same way. You might have to fluffy them up though. :)

I don't know that this will work- but you could try wiping your teddy bears with a solution of oxyclean: That's usually safe for colors. Or check for some other stain-removing spray. I have one that I got from an Oreck store some years ago when I was dealing with an old cat that had fallen ill.

Use an upholstery cleaner like Folex. It won't leave a residue and attract more dust and dirt. Plus, it won't saturate into the stuffing and leave an odor. I use it on my Wildlife Extint Stuffed Animal collection after I vacuum the dust off of them and it gets the dirt/dust off of them and leaves them looking clean, like new.

try resolve or some other brand of spray carpet cleaner. just test a hidden area of the fabric first to make sure it won't discolor it. if it doesn't, spray it on and rub the spots with a damp rag.
