All of the above.
It is occurring. Fact.
We are probably not responsible for it. Theory.
Anyone speaking out against it is a heretic. Religion.

The problem is that global warming is real and we are having an impact on it .
Global warming is a natural occurrence and our contribution to this warming is at issue .
Should we do nothing at all or begin to relocate cities that sit at current sea level or do nothing till the problem is taking root .
When the roads become flooded ,or cities like New Orleans who faced a tragic consequence from trying to hold back the forces of nature ,when we have the ability to formulate a plan .
If we only contribute 10% of the added global temperature it could be enough to cause untold trillions of dollars in lost productivity .
The billions spent building in areas that may well soon face flooding .
Its not if the ice is melting its how much will sea level rise .
These things are debatable and the facts are not in yet .
This is the fire alarm going off on the first floor of a twenty story building in a back room .
You may not see the smoke yet but the building is on fire .
Do you wait till you see actual flames and smoke or do you go into the building check the fire alarm panel and go to the location and do something .
The sprinkler system may have put it out ,but do you want to risk the whole building if you are wrong .
The signs are all pointing to a change in our climate and science does admit we are having an impact .
Now how much is debatable but to do nothing is stupid .
Lets start making preparations now .
Ignoring it will not make it go away .

Theory, it has not been proven. And if it was true, we are not the #1 cause of it, don't listen to Al Gore he doesn't know what the hell he's talking about. Scientists have PROVEN that if every person on Earth stopped polluting (driving a car, smoking etc.) that we would only affect global warming by less than 2%. The actual cause of global warming is from pollution from forest fires, volcanoes, and rain forests, YES RAIN FORESTS, the leaves give off a methane gas that pollutes the air.

It is a fact that the average global temperature is at an historic high.
It is a theory that is accepted by nearly all respected peer reviewed scientists, that this fact is caused by greenhouse gases.
The skeptics of this theory belong to a brainwashed religious cult. They can't think for themselves they can only repeat slogans that their cult leaders say on hate radio and FAUX news.

Let's see.. rational people say "every morning, the sun rises and warms the Earth by as much as 30 degrees or more. Maybe the sun is powerful enough to warm the entire Earth 0.6 degrees over 150 years".
Religious zealots say "only humans, which have never modified a single weather pattern or changed the temperature in anything bigger than a stadium, can be responsible for raising the temperature of the entire planet".
The only people that believe in Global Warming are grossly misinformed or religious zealots. There is no logic or rationale behind it.

No, quite the opposite. Those who do not accept it are ruled by the almighty corporations and they allow these corporations to completely control every aspect of their lives including the quality of the air they breath. The mantra of this cult is "free enterprise" which is ironically narrowing as fewer companies own more and more and people in and out of the cult have fewer and fewer choices.
The believers of this cult refuse to open their eyes and see the impact that we humans have on the planet so they submit their consciousness and will to the almighty corporations you know the ones that sell us hormone injected meat and dairy products...ummm.
What is "creepier" allowing corporations complete and total control over our lives by continuing to do nothing about our impact on this globe or taking control of our lives and destination by taking care of our planet?

Theory, with lots of scientific evidence that says "probably".
It's also become a religious issue -- for no reason that I can fathom. I read where one priest was removed from his church because he acknowledge that there was a scientific basis to conclude that global warming was a valid concern. He was removed just for being willing to talk about it!

It's only a "religion" to people who haven't bothered to read about it for themselves.
This is not an American issue or an Al Gore issue. It's a global issue, hence the name.
