If it is not!!!.... Then who is "doing" your thinking?????????????

did you expect everything to happen exactly as you saw it or thought it?

They are both related. We come out of the womb tabula rasa, and our experiences inform our thinking. A lot of studies have been done about this, including what it does to the thinking process to be raised without parents, or by peers instead of parents.
As we get older, we tend to see experiences within the framework of our current thinkin, our suppositions of how the world is. It is almost impossible, once those expectations are ingrained, to erase them. This is why children that are abused so often become abusers--because they have learned to expect the world to be a certain way and see every other experience within the framework of that formative experience.
That's not to say that sometimes thinking can't overcome experience. But this takes time and a lot of proof that the experience was aberrant. Its much easier to take up programming after extinction then to reprogram new thinking.

More likely our thinking is a result of our day to day experiences.

How we perceive our day to day experience is definitely a result of our thinking.

Think about it: If I wake up feeling ugly, miserable, depressed, etc. then go out in the world and face the day - I am most likely to have a crappy day. Because I appear unapproachable or depressed, people are going to avoid me or make the conversations short so they don't' have to be involved.

Now try Sit. 2: I wake up feeling great, put some cute clothes on, and face the world with a smile. Now because i appear happy and confident, people are drawn to me, and approach me with questions.

Which day to day experience do you want? =)

Yes, as per some psycholgists, the thinking manifests as a reality and thus affects the thinking, resulting in a feed-back loop. So, we experience the results of our thinking and that feed-back reinforces the thinking.

I believe in destiny and so believe that our thoughts and our reality are as a result of our karma, destiny.

In a manner of speaking, yes. Our day to day experiences are a matter of perception and thoughts are also percieved.

yeah of course. how we think what we think shapes how we view things and therefore how the world treats us. think about what you want instead of what you don't want. thoughts affect feelings but sometimes they can be totally seperate
