Black clothes absorb heat and make us warmer and if you were wearing black and got hit by a truck you would still get severely injured. There's nothing special about the color.

Well black, as a colour, absorbs light in the visible spectrum, which is why it is black. Therefore black things, like your car, or leather seats, or a shirt, well absorb light rather than reflect it, causing you to heat up. The glasses aren't black per say, they are either tinted to reduce the intensity of the light, or polarized to block out the UV rays to protect your eyes. If you don't have polarized glasses, your eyes get no protection at all.

Actually black does not protect from heavy hottness, black attracts heat because it absorbs light the most. As for the glass, it protects you because little light is able to pass through the black.

Black clothes absorb UV and IR so they do not protect you from heat. Dark polarized lenses will limit UV but so does clear glass. Plastic lenses must be coated.

black actually does not protect us from heat. but it does absorb all frequencies of light. Black is the absence of color, because it doesn't reflect any colors of light.
