Please do not say that NI law is based on English law as this not strictly true ... especially NI divorce laws

The northern Irish Law is based on common law and statutory law in the region.
Irish Republican Law is based on the whim of Jerry Adams and his gun men.
He still hasn't told us where he buried those Catholic Women.

Irish law seem's (from what I remember growing up ) to be based mostly within the purview of the Catholics while N.I. law seem' to be whatever the entrenched thug in power feel's appropriate

because repuplic laws are EC laws N-Ireland laws are UK laws but northern ireland have some laws onto there own
