A girl took my place in choir should I quit?

what is the major factor- your singing or your ego?
there is still enough music in this world for everyone to get in on it, and one solo more or less is not going to kill you.
Check with the choir director: if your singing is in question, back to the practice room. If it's the other, have a good solid talk with the person you see in the mirror every day.
sometimes ego is the last thing we need in order to sing well, especially if it keeps us from realizing our mistakes and learning from them.
Best wishes
keep on singing

I think that you should just tell Brook straight out that you no longer trust her enough to be her friend any longer. Explain your reasons and tell her that she hasn't shown you any respect or treated you like a friend for a while, so you cannot continue being used. As for the bullies who want to fight you, you must tell a teacher about this as you can't deal with this alone. Racism of any sort is wrong and these gangs of Mexicans should be integrating with the rest of the school and not segregating themselves, the school should be doing more to encourage everyone to mix. I hope that you do get these girls off your case and that you can relax at last, good luck!

No just go to the Vietnamese store and buy some garlic chili sauce. Put some in her lunch and she won't be able to sing (or talk) for quite some time.

no you shouldnt. ive had plenty of solos taken from me because the teacher didnt like me because shes doesnt like my sister, and im a freshmen. she goes by seniority. i hate her. stick out the rest of the year, and if shes still a *****, then yes, quite.
