geography is not your best side....
No matter what time of the year, it is always warmer than northern climates. It is often possible to eat your Christmas dinner outdoors.
Cyprus is in the Mediterranean climate zone, and so benefits from short mild winters and long dry & warm summers. The island is famed for its sunshine, receiving on average more than 300 days of it each year. During the summer months Cyprus is dominated by anticyclonic high pressure systems that push up from North Africa. They bring clear blue skies and temperatures that soar above 30°c day after day. Around the coast the average maximum temperature in June, July and August is 32°c. Inland, the maximum temperature can be as high as 40°c - although the average is closer to 35°c.Rain is at a premium through the summer in Cyprus, most places staying completely dry.Close to sea level, the island never really gets cold during the winter.
And just 4your info - there are more towns in Cyprus: Nicosia(capital city),Pafos,Larnaca,Famagusta, Kyrenia .......

no it's not only limassol, nicosia is the capital with 200000 population and then limassol follows.also larnaca and pafos are important cities, both have the main airports in cyprus and pafos especially is very touristic place and probably the best city in cyprus.size has nothing to do with climate, and because someone said cyprus is middle east he is wrong.cyprus is a european country(1st may 2004 joined EU) and geographically is not in middle east,it;s just very close!
