besides the fact that they are basketball shoes and have the air jordan logo, nothing much, most kids want them because of the price, they want to go to school and brag about the fact that they got a pair of a hundred dollar shoes, there is nothing out of the ordinary about the logo on the bottom, its just a regular logo that looks kinda cool

If a famous company with a good reputition make a product, usually everyone goes mad about it and starts buying it, EVEN if it was something normal (nothing special about it).
And don't forget that if you wear something well known for its good quility and is expensive, it grabs the attention.
Some Air Jordan have good features though...
