I remember when I was a baby (not even 1 year old). I was sucking on my bottle and the nipple broke and formula spilt all over me! I remember thinking "ba ba break." I'm not kidding! A couple of years ago I told my sister that I remembered such a thing happening. I asked her if it was real or if I might have dreamt it. She started cracking up and told me that it was a real memory and that she couldn't believe that I remembered it. Moreover, she was amazed that I remembered what I was thinking in terms of language and cognitive development.

I can remember lying in my pram and being annoyed because I could not stretch out properly. I think this is a genuine memory because I have never discussed it with anyone, at least not until I became an adult. I think I must have been less than a year old because I know I could not sit up or move myself into a more comfortable position. I have lots of memories from my toddler age but this is the earliest one I have.

Funny, that's my earliest memory too. I was 2 when my sister was born and I remember the events of that day quite clearly. That was over 40 years ago.

I can remember when I was about 16 months old climbing out of my cot, going to the top of the stairs, then rolling down the stairs head first and landing at the bottom then laughing when my mother came out into the hall to see me sat at the bottom! I swear to God how bizarre is that, I can remember what I done 27 years ago yet I can't remember what I went into the kitchen for 10 seconds ago?!

I have lots of memories as a child. The earliest is of me on my back in one of those old fashion playpens with wooded poles with pink and blue balls alternating on each pole. My sister had pulled out one of the poles and was poking me with it , when my grandmother came running over and grabed the pole, saying no , no, don't hit your sister. I told my mother about this memory and she was blown away. she said I was only 4 months old when that took place. I remember pulling myself up in my crib. Being feed in my high chair. and many more very vivid memories to numerous to mention all verified by my mother and grandmother.

When I was small, my father would always play the same song and dance with me before it was time to go to bed. My earliest memory is of him holding me during that song. I couldn't have been more than 3 years old.

I think I was around 2 and a half or 3. I got lost on the beach and I remember going around looking for my mum and dad. I remember I was always looking up and everything looked huge.

I can remember when I was still a baby, a odd memory. It was in a railway station cafe. We were seated near the window that overlooked the platforms, and there was a clock just outside the window. I had the false impression that we were perched on the clock. I remember the clock face, in roman numerals, white face and black letters, everything a little grimy. The tabletops were yellow formica. It was warm and comfy.
