They are a loving people and filled with the Holy Spririt. They love their Lord openly and honestly and yes, even loudly.
Religion was the one thing that their ancestors had back in the day of slavery. They could worship (as long as it was Christian) and that was one of the very few things they were allowed to do freely.
Perhaps because of that the mode of hystrionic worship and been handed down through generations. I think it's cool!
Right on to our Nubian sisters and brothers for their unbridled enthusiasm.
As a white Catholic, I can barely kneel anymore.

It's not a racial thing,
that's how southern baptists praie the lord, in a VERY inthusiastic way.
Nothing wrong with it, it's nice to see people inspired in such a way
