If you are referring to the one with Tim Currey, there were three different endings.
Ending 1: Scarlet is the murderer.
Ending 2: Mrs Peacock is the murderer.
Ending 3: Everyone murdered someone.

When it originally showed at theatres, depending on what theatre you saw it at; you saw a different ending. I saw it here in Dalton, Ga with one ending, then saw it with some friends 2 towns away and saw a different ending! Just like the board game...lol
Then when it came out on vhs video, they had all 3 endings at the end! This would be a good movie to remake if they would get the 'right' actors and let them 'ablib' their lines and not follow the dialogue of a script too much. The first cast was excellent but if they'd been given more freedom in their lines it would've been a much more funny movie and maybe would'nt have bombed at the box office like it did. Still a nice film though :-)

There were three different endings in the movie version of the board game. In one, Mrs. Peacock was the murderess, in another it was Miss Scarlett. But the ending they show as "here's what really happened", everyone killed someone, but the killer of Mr. Body was Mr. Green, who was an FBI plant.

All of them killed one person. Mr. Green was a detective and arrested all of them except for Mr. Body (who they thought was the butler) who Mr. Green shot. Therefore, everyone was a murderer.

The film "Clue" was based on the board game "Clue". Don't remember who actually committed the murder, but I think it was the character played by Truman Capote.
