Open a command prompt and type "ipconfig /all" without quotes, then enter. If you use one of the websites like the one mentioned above, you'renot going to see the IP of your computer if you have a firewall in place - you'll see the IP for the external interface of your router/firewall.

Start>All Programs>Command Prompt (or Run>cmd and click OK in XP).
Type ipconfig and press the return/enter key.
You will instantly get all of your basic IP information: IP Address, Subnet Mask and Default Gateway.

If your looking for you local ip address:
Windows - Run: CMD (or go to Command Prompt)
Type in "ipconfig" and your ipaddress should appear
Unix/Mac - Run Terminal Window, type "ifconfig"
