Yes, I dated a guy for a year and a half who wasn't very attractive but was one of the best boyfriends ever. We were friends first, so I really got to know him inside, making me totally forget the outside. After a while he looked more and more attractive because he made me laugh and we had fun together. Now all of the guys I date have to have a great sense of humor.

Yes. My first true love was a total frog on the outside. But he was a complete prince in my eyes.

It is funny, when you take the time to get to know someone, and they are extraordinary on the inside, their outside becomes a lot more attractive! And vise versa- beautifully on the outside and ugly on the inside makes the outside beauty fade very quickly for me.

Yes......That is actually the type of person I like to date most. Because then the relationship is real. It doesnt turn into a "show", and you arent just looking for someone who your friends, and you, can drool over...Your looking for the person you can connect with and who will make you happy.

I dated someone who many might think "he doesn't seem like her type" kind.
He was in my class and he was considered a class clown and I am the shy type and when we dated, I was always the quiet one and he was very outspoken. He is REAL and I guess i liked that about him.

yer it really sucks that we put so much emphasis on looks, it wasn't our choice what we looked like, we have to do the best with what we got. he's one of my best mates and i guess to me he wasn't very attractive on the outside, but i love him he's a great guy, so funny, really smart and i could see myself with him, he makes me happy.
you'll find that when u give someone a chance that you werent physically attracted to in the begining and they make u happy then they become physically attractive to you.
when you think someones hot and then u get to know them and u don't like their personality then they become unattractive to you. there's so much more to it than just what the eyes can see!
