Bureaucracy is one of those things that works well on paper and in theory, but in practice it doesn't live up to what was envisioned. People don't like bureaucracies because although it exists to serve the people, it often gains a life of it's own. Because a Bureaucracy is designed to best serve the masses, it becomes an impersonal and cold system where the few (who are in the system) actually has power. So, by serving everyone, a bureaucracy serves no one.

And besides, a bureaucracy is the grave yard of bold new ideas. There is a lot of focus on structure and rules. And no doubt a lot of debate and thoughts put on the table, but few decisions made.

Cause they are unelected people who have a job they cannot lose who barely do us any good.
Did you know that when the federal government takes a dollar from you only 25 cents comes back?
But when it goes to local government 75cents comes back.

BUT when you give it to charity, many charites give 98 cents back?

Hmmmm...

Government stinks.
