I have a Kenmore Gas Range and lately all the pilots are going off and none are even are set to LITE or turned on. How do I fix it? Is it just a fuse? Or something more difficult to fix?

Help. Any ideas?

Sounds like one of your switches is shorted out. You will need to figure out which one and replace it. You can unplug each one until the popping stops and that will tell you which one needs to be replaced.

Hi, I have a Kenmore Gas Range also.If yours is anything like mine, You'll need to open the top to get to the burners. At the burners, there are tubes that supplies the gas, and at the end of those tubes there are orficces. You need to take those off and clean them,as they probable have grease in them. Also clean out the actual burner to. I hope yours is that easy to repair , My Range is fifty years old and still going strong.I wouldn't trade it for the world! I don't know how the newer ones are compared to it. Good Luck! If you can't get it fixed, call Sears, they'll have a manual for it. They had one for mine, even though it is fifty years old! Bye

if this is a standing pilot? if so, it probably is the thermocouple has worn out. it's a safety device that recognizes the presence of a flame in order for the gas valve to open. try this web site " repairclinic.com ".
