alot of people at my school have resorted to cutting themselves because that is how they want to deel with their pain.. i want to show them that they really are not alone in the world. so can u please tell me if u know some one who has cut or if u do/have cut and why!!!???! thanks! it means alot!

I dont need the "why people do it" only your personal feelings on why U did it. or why your friend or family member might have done it.

I've cut before - on the back of my legs. but I did it just for fun. a friend just started cutting and she says she's depressed over her homelife. also, cutting seems to be taking on almost "fad" status. it could be worse I guess.

I will say is a very bad thing, i have a friend that use to cut or destroy anything around him when he feel any pain or someone offend him, no matter how close you are to him if you do something he don't like he will cut himself or look for something to damage, until one day is boss offended him and forgetting that the phone he was holding on his hand was for the boss he hit it on the ground the phone destroy, he lost his job, from that day he use to advise people about cutting.
people that have hot temper normally do it, some do it due to drugging themselves, some normally got it from changing from teenage to maturity, some many things can call for it.

there's no set answer...people do it for different reasons. there's the stereotype of "doing it to feel emotional pain to put a name on it" and then the other "moody teenager". its different for everybody. some people seek punishment because they know that they don't measure up. cutters aren't usually suicidal because if they were they'd do it. like i said people do it for different reasons.

My Best Friend was a cutter She ended up committing suicide Think about it (I am NOT being mean or critizing you I am stating a fact)

my friend used to cut herself she said it was kinda of a release of emotion. she couldnt do anything so she got upset & it led to that
