You probably were SUPPOSED to have been taller but you stunted your growth somehow, like not eating enough protein/calcium or drinking too much caffine when you were younger. But there's a chance you still grow more. My friend's father grew about another foot after he finished college.
Don't worry about it, it's not a big deal. I have super small feet, size 5 1/2 and I wish they were bigger, but we gotta work with what we got! :)

No not really, my daughter is 5'3" and her shoe size is 8 1/2
she is in her 40's now. Something in your genes and family back ground. Somethings you just have to live with.
When I was 16 to 21 my foot size was 5. Then I started running bare footed and my foot went to a 6 in some shoes to a 6 1/2. Yet even my father [ for a man ] had a small foot. He had a hard time finding a size 6 in a mans shoe. My mom on the other hand was 5'4" and never wore anything but a 5 1/2 size shoe her whole life. So who knows what goes on in our genes...

No. I am the same. I've had to order shoes for volleyball and basketball teams and that is the absolute average size in my experience.
also your feet continue to grow, they never stop... I'm 28 and in some shoe's I'm an 8 1/2... by 30 i should be strictly 8 1/2.

I don't think your feet outgrew you. The women in my family are all on the shorter side and their shoe size on average is an 8. I have a grandmother who wears a 12 and a cousin who is still growing and is in a 10 right now!
To me 5'3" and a size 8 is pretty normal.

Yeah you have big feet for your height.
I am 5'6 and I wear a 7.
I suggest you buy your shoes from the big kids section (boys) I wear a 5 1/2 so you would probably need a 6 or 6 1/2. Boy shoes look smaller on our feet, so that should help.

No your feet did not out grow you. Without sounding religious, or anything like that, God made you that way that he saw fit, which means that there is no way for you to be out of proportion. I am 5'6" and have a size 10 foot (women's) which I've had since I was about 10-11 years old. Chances are you inherited it from either parents.

Some people just have bigger feet. My 5'3" sister has size 10 feet. She's about 117 lbs. I'm 5'5" and a 10.5. Shoe size and height may have some things in common but aren't directly correllated just like size and breast size don't necessarily correllate
