Yes, my prayers are with her and her family. I am a John Edwards supporter and I'm sure when the time is right he will know what to do about his campaign. I don't think Elizabeth wants him to give up, as I'm sure she won't with her cancer.

I wish her the best. Mr Edwards should leave the Presidential campaign. I lost my husband from cancer and ended up leaving work to take care of him and be with him until the day he died, no regrets, so glad I did. His time with his wife should be the most important thing right now.

Absolutely! She is a brave woman. From what I have seen, she is beautiful, intelligent and very loving towards her family. She & her family are in my prayers. I know what she is facing as I have watched my mother struggle with the same illness for the last 3 years. There is hope. Although it is not curable (YET), it can be controlled in certain cases. Many women are living for years with metastatic breast cancer. I wish her all the best & am grateful to you all for doing this.

As for her husbands campaign, he will know when to be with her. No cancer patient wants the lives of their loved ones to stop simply because they are ill. It may be years before she becomes really sick. And I'm sure she would want him to continue on his campaign. He seems like a loving husband who will always be there for her.

Yes, and I think he should be with her not on the campaign trail. The less stress she encounters the better she'll be.
