The best direction I can point you in, if your probation officer hasn't already, is that there is an experimental initiative for felons in Chicago sponsored by The Joyce Foundation for transitional jobs for ex-felons. See the sites below for additional information.

you could discover which you receive extra appropriate solutions in case you ask a extra appropriate question and supply extra ingredient, in view that no one is conscious precisely what you're asking. Are you asking which employers hire ex-cons? Are you asking for human beings's opinions on employers that hire ex-cons? what style of offense are you implicating? Arson, housebreaking, attack, Sexual attack, vehicle robbery, Drug-appropriate.... the form of offense would probable impact a man or woman's answer.

Try the waste management industry or the truck driving industry.
I work in waste management and we will hire pretty much anyone as long as you have the legal right to work in the US and were not convicted as a sexual predator.
The truck driving industry is facing a huge shortage of drivers.

Man, that's a hard road.
Good luck. Maybe start out at churches, and such. Or maybe your parole officer knows people.
Fast food might, if it wasn't for grand theft.
