4) All were agrarian cultures, depending upon the flow of river water for irrigation of crops, for survival.
5) 3 castes. Upper castes were rulung peoples and regional warlords. Basically wealthy peoples. Middle caste was basically free, but poor people. Lower caste was the slave or indentured servant class.
