Well dr bunny... its strange that you should ask this, but research has shown that people are waiting longer and longer before they get married and have children these days, so can they? I say sure... I'm 37, never been married, dont have kids, not because I have a problem with commitment, but because I have yet to find someone I trust enough to stick by me if things arent always peachy.. you know... tuck tail and run.

Which is what a lot of women are starting to do as well these days... they are realizing that they dont want to merely become a statistic just so they can say they are married, and that its worth waiting for the right person. What is difficult however is a woman over 30 who is divorced with kids.

Sadly men still have a huge stigma with the baggage of children... perhaps its because we know they arent our? Who knows... Maybe the guy at that age has also had children of his own and doesnt really want to deal with more? Sadly though for a single mother over 30, it is very difficult to find a quality man, but then again, maybe thats because quality men are hard to find period.

I think for most women, the odds increase of finding a relationship that would be a long term one. Most women in their 20s these days are very immature, so even if they think they've found true love, they likely haven't really. The problem is, people (woman and men) over 30 are more likely to be bitter. You sound like you've got some bitterness going on, and if so, you'll have to work on that. You also don't want to attract the wrong kind of bitter guy. I do firmly believe that you can find something more than rudimentary companionship, but don't set your sights on getting the moon on a stick.

"Can a woman after 30 find a true love?
...or you make compromise with your identity just not to spend your life alone?"

The way you presented your question indicates that you believe people under the age of 30 compromise there identity in order to be in a realtionship.

Your values and ideas change radically from the time you are in your teens to your thirties. Most people mature and mellow out. More radical ideas are tamed or vice versa. I believe that there is no age limit on finding a life mate. My Grandmother married a second time when she was sixty five and spent thirty happy years with this extraodinary gentleman.

One of my friends was in a bad marriage for years -- when she finally got divorced she found true love (she was in her fifties). When she got divorced she said that she would never get married again but she eloped at Christmas and is happier then I have ever seen her... the moral to this story is that you never know when love will find you -- age of the woman (or the man) are not factors.

In my opinion as a man, I think woman ages under 30 is not mature yet. I prefer to date a lady ages over 30 rather than young girl age under 30.

Sure does. As long as there's tomorrow, the sun will always shines. Tell mom not to compromise. She's still young.

Yes, you can find love after 30...and after 40, after 50..so and so...Love is an energy that has nothing to do with your age. I also strongly believe that you can have few "true loves" through your life...never too late...I will love until I die.

My mom found true love after 30... it can happen, don't compromise yourself, if you do, then you'll never find it.
