Let's avoid the posts about Republicans being happy about Edwards wife having cancer. It sounds a little too much like the dumb azz posts I read about liberals wishing Cheney was dead. Neither is true and it makes the person asking look ridiculous.

I'll make a deal with you. Speak out against the posts about liberals hating America, and I'll speak out against the "Republicans are happy about Mrs. Edwards's cancer."
Edit: That's fine. But my point is, ignorance flows in two directions. I believe in the First Amendment. I choose not to listen to idiots who claim all Republicans are happy Elizabeth Edwards has a life-threatening illness, because those are the extremists of our ideology, and they don't deserve the attention.

I wish the ignorant posts would stop also. Mrs. Edwards is someone I like and admire and I wish it were her and not Hilary Clinton trying to become the first women president. But now all I can do is pray for her to recover.

Edwards is a phony and Cheney is a pompous ***. That said, I hope and pray that Mrs. Edwards pulls through in this battle and I DO wish Cheney good health. Beneath all the horse manure that makes up their exterior, beneath it all they are human beings no different than you and me.

And the problem of wishing cheney was dead? If he would have died after the first heart attack, we'd probably still have 3200+ troops still alive. (Of course bush would have had to choke on that pretzel, but he's just cheney's puppet.).....
