The CapitOL building's step count is different from all the steps in the nation's capitAL, Washington DC.

The number of steps in the interior of the CapitOL building, from the basement to the top of the dome, is 365.

365 steps is correct and they represent the days of the year and I personally think your question was fine either way you were going to get the same answer in return.
