Girls wear mens stuff, but guys can't wear girls stuff???

The reason is due to sexism. Females wanting to dress male is seen as expected, after all men are better hence why it is allowed for them to dress as male. Because men are seen as better dressing as female would be a step downwards on the social latter and a lack of masculinity, something not approved by society because people should want to be men because men are best.
You do have the right to wear a skirt, but it is socially unacceptable due to current social trends. Hopefully oneday the sexes will be equal and people can be free to do what they want, but that day is a long way off.

No one told you that you can not wear a skirt. Wear whatever you want. But if you do, try to follow the fashion and do wear clothing appropriate for the occasion. And come on I have seen men wear make up. But yeah they glop it on. Men seem to want to go overboard when wearing women's clothes. Just copy the girl next door and try not to look like a hooker. I see no problem if you want to wear a skirt. The Celtics did. GO FOR it could be a new fashion statement.

I agree, why can't men wear like skirts, tights and blouses etc... But women can wear like trousers or jeans and suits and nothing is said. I think it goes to show that some people in society are small minded.

I asked the same question a few weeks ago. It is not fair. Oh, yes men can wear skirts if they want, but society will chastise the heck out of them.

I dont know. You know what Ive been wondering is what makes a skirt so "modest"? I mean, whats so modest about being able to easily reach your hand up a woman's skirt and touch whatevers there? Woudnt pants be the more modest thing? Anyway, if you want to wear a skirt, wear it. I dont mind.
But dont forget to shave !

Guys CAN wear skirts...and they do. But people look at it the same as they look at women and men in sexuality. Women who sleep with multiple people are "sluts" but men who do that are just doing what they were born to do! Men who wear skirts are looked at funny, but women can wear men's clothes. That's society.

LOL.... men can wear skirts... just not looked at wonderfully in some societies.... in some societies it is the norm though... but go ahead and do it... my husband says guys at his job wear kilts and everyone just thinks they are skirts... and after a while no one even noticed them!

I've always wondered that too. It's okay for women to do anything a man does and nobody calls her butch but the second a man does something like a girl he's a ferry. Why is that? Is that not in equality in the direction of men?

First of all, why would you want to? Slacks are ever so much more comfortable. But men with good legs look great in kilts. And I'll bet if enough men REALLY wanted to dress in skirts, they'd do it. They do everything else they want to do.

Kilt, men from scotland wear this and it looks like a skirt.
But mens cloths are designed for men and women's for women
Ever saw a male on a tank top, it makes you sick right?
How bout those short shorts, ever saw a man wearing them, i mean look at those legs, ill be like OMG
