I don't support illegally downloading music, I hope you're doing it leagally. But if you want some good suggestions, go to www.allmusic.com, type in some of your favorite bands and it will have a list of similar artists. It gives you the option to preview music too, so you can see if you like it.

Best way to find good music is look at the charts,see below.
See the albums chart and also the singles one.
Also go itunes and see some of the most popular and most talked about songs.
There is always www.youtube.com where you can see the MOST DISCUSSED and MOST VIEWED music stuff.

Go to www.pandora.com
Type in an artist you like and they will give you a station that plays similar artists. That might give you some ideas as to what songs or artists you want to dl.
