Is the Compaq Presario a good laptop?

Its is the Compaq Presario Notebook with Intel® Celeron® M Processor 430 version.

Should I buy it?

I'd avoid *anything* with the Compaq name on it. I've owned two and both were absolute junk.

I have a Compaq Presario SR1403 , not a lap top, but it's not such a great computer, I would go with a better brand.

No, Celeron's are really slow. Look for a Compaq/HP nx4400 - good price and dual core - or a Toshiba.

I would advise you to go for a Centrino. They ar the best and latest
