yes, go on to morpheus.com download site, go to software, and look under phone unlocking, or something of that sort, there are programs you can download, once downloaded you put in your make of phone and it gives you the unlock code, first take out your sim and turn the phone on then type in the number, in normally starts with 'p' or something you get the letters by pressing the star or hash key two or three times though you only have a few seconds to type it in, so it may take a few go's, if you use morpheus, make sure you have up to date virus protection on your cpu, good luck

sorry astroman downloading the software from morephus is not a good idea because there is no offical unlocking software for nokia 6680 (if there was my independent mobile phone dealer would make a killling!) or any nokia phone that has BBL5 algorithms. If there is software available to unlock the phone (and this goes to the person asking the question!) then if you cannot unlock the phone after 4 times then stop and pay the operator the money to unlock the phone for if you get it wrong 5 TIMES you make the phone useless is the phone is then BARRED and you CANNOT get the phone UNBARRED for love or money as it is ILLEGAL as you need to change the IMEI number. Hope that helps.

When you say SIM-free, do you mean making it so that it runs without a SIM card? Do you intend to use the phone with a carrier that does not use SIM cards?
If so please take note of this: Some companies use different technologies, CDMA and GSM. GSM phones use SIM cards (examples are T-Mobile and Cingular).... while CDMA phones do not and rely on the ESN number of the phone (Verizon and Sprint). A GSM phone will never work on a CDMA network because the phone is not manufactured to use that technology. If your phone requires a SIM card, you can unlock it to accept any carrier's SIM card but it will not enable you to use it on a network that does not require one.
To obtain unlock codes, you can contact your service provider, or just do a Google search for "subsidy unlock code".
