Dylan's a good name, especially if you're into surfing: it means "Son of the Wave". There's also Dafydd; Arthwyr (Welsh for Arthur, Natch), Llwyd (Lloyd), Llewelyn, Rhys, Ioan, Ieauan (check my spelling of that one!) Sion, Arfon and (of course) Gareth (my name).
Girl's names include Sian, Ceri, Rhiannon (check spelling), Lisbet (ditto), Myfanwy (pronounced mivanoi), Gwenfwyr (check spelling: Welsh for Guinevere, and means "White Wave" i.e. breaker; another suitable name for a surfer's child). Remember that often the only difference difference between the masculine and feminine in Welsh is the letter used. Therefore Tegwyn is the masculine form and Tegwen the feminine. Just a selection and some food for thought. If you live in wales, pop into a library and look at a book of Welsh forenames. Hope your child(ren) is/are healthy and happy.

Dylan Thomas is a very nice boy name, but my favorite Welsh boy name is Griffin. Rhia Leigh is nice, and other Welsh girl names I like are Morgan and Tegan.

I really like both ur suggestions, but i have loadsa suggestions of my own if your interested!!
I like Osian for a boy and Arianwen for a girl. There are loads of really unusual Welsh names, and common ones, i have a list at home if you want any more with the meanings just email me and i will scan the list and send it to you!
If you want a really unusual Welsh name you could try one from the Mabinogion, there are loads! Or common ones like Geraint, Iwan, Dylan like you said or Rhys. I love Taliesin for a boy too, he was a Welsh poet in the 6th Century, Also like Rhiannon for a girl, its a very old Welsh name but still quite common today! Also try these websites

Hope this helps, if you want any more info just email me, like i said i have a list of hundreds with the meanings, i did a Welsh degree and did a project on Welsh names! Welsh names rock, ur making a good choice!
