Is it ok to wear a cropped jacket with short puff sleeves with a jumper with longer 3/4 sleeves? Both are beige so its not a big clash but is it a fashion faux pas???

i think it would look waaaay better if you didnt have them both the same colour because people will still be able to tell theyre different items of clothing...
if it was me id go for a different colour underneath which didnt clash like white or a darker brown
